Dear colleagues,
we are thrilled to announce that the second edition of the CataLight Young Scientist Symposium (CYSS2021) will take place virtually from September 21st to 30th, 2021! CYSS2021 is a junior researcher online conference that covers all aspects of Artificial Photosynthesis – from material synthesis and preparation to spectroscopic and theoretical investigations. Our goal is to provide a platform for PhD students and young PostDocs to present their research as talks or posters in front of an audience which is in their early career themselves, thereby opening up discussions and networking opportunities among peers.
We are excited to present our programme of invited speakers, who will share their newest research and expert perspectives on solar fuels, artificial photosynthesis, and photocatalysis:
- Troy Van Voorhis (MIT)
- Ksenija Glusac (Uni Illinois at Chicago)
- Ellen Backus (Uni Vienna)
- Oliver Wenger (Uni Basel)
- Christoph Kerzig (Uni Mainz)
- Vera Krewald (TU Darmstadt)
- Souvik Roy (Uni Lincoln)
- Lilac Amirav (Technion Haifa)
Participation in CYSS2021 is entirely free of charge. The abstract submission deadline is July 31st, 2021; please submit via https://cyss-catalight.de/event/6/abstracts/
